The Mist has four properties. In this article, I'll be showing you the second property, the physical part. Last time, I told you how the Mist works as a protective aura shield around you, but you know that's basically magic. Here, we're talking more force field like. Take the barrier around Camp Half-Blood, for example. Since the Mist tolerates demigods, Greek and Roman alike, any mortal with a drop of godly blood will be able to pass through. But to monsters, the barrier acts as a force field of a sort, making it impenetrable. Also, demigods of Hecate will be able to twist and manipulate the Mist to create barriers around a small area even if they're energized enough. Manipulating or using the Mist for demigods can be very tiring. Very few children whom are not children of Hecate can manipulate the Mist, and even so, very little. Take Hazel, a daughter of Pluto, for example. She has mastered the Illusion property of Mist. Some demigods of the eldest gods, Thalia Grace, for example, can also do little Mist manipulation.
Well, this is it for this article! Watch out for Part Three: Illusions!
